Los Angeles County Arboretum | Wedding Photographer | Uyen & Ronnie

I had the pleasure of being the wedding photographer for Uyen & Ronnie’s wedding.  They had a beautiful outdoor garden wedding planned at the Los Angeles County Arboretum, and it went off without a hitch!  I was totally looking forward to shooting at the LA Arboretum in Arcadia since I had such a great time at Jinny and Mike’s wedding there as well.  Their outdoor wedding  had magnificent clouds that looked amazing in their wedding photos.  But before we headed over to the Arboretum in Arcadia for their wedding ceremony, they arranged a traditional tea ceremony at Uyen’s home in the Inland Empire.  I just love all the vibrant colors involved in the morning tea ceremony!  Enjoy the beautiful wedding photos from their traditional tea ceremony and outdoor garden wedding below.

San Gabriel Hilton & New Capital Seafood | Wedding Photography | Steve & MyLinh

Steve and MyLinh’s wedding was so cool to me partly because of how they met.  And all I have to say is what happens in Vegas certainly does NOT stay in Vegas (score for Steve)!  But if they didn’t disclose that bit of information I bet no one would have guesses that’s how they hooked up.  I think I got lazy previously (what a surprise…right) and skipped posting their e-session pictures on the blog because I tried to find the link and link it to this post but to my disappointment it doesn’t exist, but I’ll just blame it on the blog switch and say that somehow it got lost in the transition:).

Ok, back to the wedding at hand.  Steve got ready at the San Gabriel Hilton where they later had their wedding ceremony and I had the privilege to have the talented and long haired Kalen of Kalenology (or whatever name he decides on for his business…) shoot the guys while they got ready and departed to MyLinh’s home to do the tea ceremony.  When you scroll down, you will see a random picture of his bestman sticking his hand out the sunroof of the limo so let me explain this weird story for you folks and let it be a lesson to all of you who will be riding in limos.  While the limo was driving, the bestman decided that they wanted a bit more air coming in so he reached up to the sun/moon roof and adjusted it where the back tilted up.  But I guess the limo was driving a bit fast on the freeway and the wind caught the sun/moon roof and ripped it off the limo’s roof and came crashing down on the freeway behind them.  Luckily it was a Saturday morning so there wasn’t too many cars on the road so no other cars were involved, but as if this was not bizarre enough, when the limo drive realized what had happened, he knew exactly how much it would cost to replace that to the penny!  So it may be a setup to get a few more $$ out of the people from the sneaky limo company….?

Ya, did I just stray away from the wedding pictures again?  Sorry.

Go ahead and scroll down to see some of the pictures from this wedding.  I’ve gotta say that MyLinh looked super stunning and Steve was looking amazingly sharp as well so my best wishes to the good looking couple!  (uh…i can’t wait to finish your album guys…:))

OKAY….finally back to work….on this blog! I apologize for the delay, but here you go. I promise to have new weddings up here on a regular basis and also even share some thoughts with all of you on things wedding!

Now, back to the subject at hand.

What can I say, this wedding was probably one of the most laid back weddings and everyone was so cool! Mike and Jen had a quick tea ceremony at the bride’s home then headed off to Mission261 for a quick lunch break before starting their wedding ceremony at the rooftop garden at the San Gabriel Hilton with the reception of 300+ family and guests immediately after. Check out the pictures:

Los Angeles Arboretum Wedding Photographer | Jinny and Michael

I had a lot of fun being the wedding photographer for this wedding that had their rose garden wedding ceremony in Arcadia at the Los Angeles County Arboretum because there were lots of familiar faces as well as lots of cool people. Also, I had a good (and hot) time also being a wedding coordinator for them before their ceremony. They were so busy setting up other things for their wedding ceremony that they didn’t have a plan of how the ceremony was going to start and who was giving which people queue’s to begin their parts….(sounds confusing…it was!) But it all worked out great! Also, this was another referral wedding! Michael’s sister is Katie, which was a bride of mine from…….oh……..let me think back………um……August 2005 (who….has been so busy with work has not made the time to finish their ALBUM!). Also, I have shot Katie’s husband Bo’s sister’s wedding Carolina and John late last year. By the way, you’ll see lots of Bo in many of the pictures in this post(get out of my way Bo!…hehe)

Ok, back to the wedding. They had a traditional tea ceremony at both Jinny and Michael’s homes and then headed off to the Arboretum for a quick portrait session before heading over to their ceremony at the rose garden of the Arboretum. After the H-O-T ceremony, every headed off to Prince Seafood in Cerritos for the wedding reception (my old home town….I miss Cerritos)!  Take a look below for their wedding photos.

Beautiful home of Jinny!
