Descanso Garden | Wedding Photography | Dan and Aimee

I was blessed to be the wedding photographer for Aimee and Dan’s wedding. They had a picked the beautiful Japanese garden at the La Canada Flintridge’s Descanso Gardens for their portrait session with their wedding party. I was already totally excited to be photographing at such a scenic location, but when Aimee and the rest of her girls arrived in thier stretch limo, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had awesome props as well!  So I had to get those in my shots!  After a few hours of shooting at the Descanso Gardens, they had their beautiful church ceremony in Los Angeles and then headed off to NBC restaurant in Monterey Park for their reception.  Please scroll down to check out their festive day!  Oh, and if you were a guest at this party and would like to see ALL of the images, go ahead and click HERE to login and see everything!

Descanso Gardens | Wedding Photography | Dan and Aimee *teaser*

I had the pleasure of being Aimee and Dan’s wedding photographer. They are a referral couple from a couple who had me photograph their wedding a few years ago!  Thanks so much…I love referrals!  Aimee and Dan arranged a beautiful portrait bridal session at the Japanese garden inside Descanso Gardens at La Canada Flintridge (where the Station fire is currently burning…!) and I love photographing weddings at the Descanso gardens! It was also a super pleasant opportunity for me because all 14 people in their bridal party (7 groomsmen and 7 bridesmaids) + Uncle CJ was so easy to work with and we had some excellent outdoor garden photos. I’m just going through some of them right now and could not resist posting at least this ONE shot. My fav so far!

La Cañada Flintridge & Descanso Gardens | Wedding Photography | Shirley & David

If you have been reading my “somewhat lazy posted” for a while, then you would know that I LOVE referrals!!! Because every referral that I shoot is so much fun because they already KNOW what I can do for them so they’re super chill and just let me do whatever….and also in this bride’s case, I’ve already worked with their family! Since they were referred to me by their cousin Angela and Cecil which I shot last October:)I love shooting weddings!!!!

Okay, enough of that. This lovely couple had a backyard wedding, but I’m pretty sure Shirley’s dad’s house has much more nicer trees than yours (See the pictures). But they also wanted to take some pictures just for the couple at the Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge. I thought that the super cold winter might have kicked all of the tree’s asses, but not true, they had some spectacular scenes:)I think this is all the narration this couple needs. Check out some of my humble work :p
