Day 2 in paris. Versailles et de Trianon

Ok, so we got rested early last night and went to bed super early at around 7pm! When we woke up 6am the next day it was showtime! We went to the Chateau Versailles and had a blast (and lots of walking…) I have been here once before with my family while attending Photokina in Koln, Germany so I was expecting a lot, but this time when we came they were doing construction to bot the outside and inside portions of the Chateau. SUCKS! Because for the outside, there were tons of scaffoldings and also they didn’t turn on any of the fountains and the water levels in them were all low and sh*t…. anyhow, I still got some pictures from there. (so wish i brought my 10~22mm lens tho…)

love the light…

Group photo at Marie-Antuanette’s backyard…

beautiful clouds…no?

one last one

I’ll get you more photos after we come back from either shopping or more museum/monument today….stay tuned!

Hello…..from Paris

For those of you that have been getting my auto-responder e-mail can finally see what I’ve been up to these past few days:)It cost so much $(euros)$ for me to get online. It costs $8 euros for a connection usage of 60 minutes within a 24 hour window…yes so confusing. Or I can get 24 hours of connection for 24 hours window for $13 euros. Anyways, you guys don’t care about that…

The flight here was supposed to be around 10 hours but I guess we got lucky because it only took around 9 hours and we were already touched down at Charles de Gaulle, Paris, FRANCE – TERMINAL 2E. BUT…the plane was a 777 and it is SOOO cramped…so we were so glad that the flight was over!

so happy the flight was over…because too cramped = can’t sleep…. But also excited that we’re officially vacationing!

such a beautiful airport…..I think much nicer that that LAX we departed from

then we go to our hotel inside paris by train. We’re super excited about our hotel because it is supposed to be less than 10 minute walk to Champs Elysees (should kick Rodeo Dr.’s ass), The Arc de Triomphe, and the Eifel Tower!

On the train to our hotel, all of a sudden, outside te window….we see this little thing:)cool!

Alicia and Byron (i’ll ask him about his spelling….)

That day, we were so tired and jetlagged from that super cramped flight so we took a river tour. The coolest thing on the crusie is this thing. There were other bridges and such, but….me like this one most!

One more shot!

ok…more to come later:)

Laguna Beach Orange County | Engagement Session | Hong & Kenny

Okay, double posts today:)And both are engagement/bridal sessions that I’ve shot. Now, if you’ve read the previous post you know that Koon & Linda was pretty fun to shoot…but these guys, Kenny & Hong were even more kick ass!!! (well, at least Hong did better than Kenny…except for the constant blink-age)

We worked real hard with this couple, the forecast was clear and sunny and that’s what we got…and more! We had some killer clouds that kinda was a concern for Kenny when we drove there…but I assured him that some clouds are our “friends”….you’ll see when you scroll down:)But back to the story, these guys worked real hard…woke up at 4am, get ready, drive from the OC to Temple City arriving at 5 before 6am to get hair and makeup done….me and my assistant Suki came into the studio at around 7:45am to help Kenny change into his tux and all…left for the beautiful Laguna Beach at around 8:30am arriving at 9:30ish. Then it’s off to work. But right before I started shooting I remember one thing…..SUNSCREEN! Yes, I ended up getting REALLY rosy cheeks….(me so cute?)

That’s about it….maybe too much details?….well….I’m a man of too many words sometimes…hehe! Ok, scroll down to see the nice weather…and the cute couple:)
